Government has decided the rehabilitation scheme to deal with Fire and subsidence zone affected people residing particularly in Raniganj, Dugapur and Asansol areas. This rehabilitation work in phased manner would be carried out in Durgapur and Asansol Sub Division area for more than 33200 families as per approved master plan .These rehabilitation schemes are being implemented in big chunks of land with 4 storied buildings and 4 flats per floor I.e. 16 nos flats per building of more or less 400 sqft area.This rehabilitation scheme will help the affected people to live in safe place and on cluster basis which can change the socio economic development of these places.
