For the use of the people, especially the women, during their journey by road, this department has constructed PATHASATHI (Motel) with facilities of Bathroom, Toilets, Passengers' waiting Room, Night Shelter and Restaurant at every 50 k.m.(approx.) on National Highway, State Highway and other important roads throughout the state. Housing Department has handed over total 70 "PATHASATHI"s to the Tourism Department for proper operation and maintenance.
